How We Work
Rob works very closely with each of our clients to meet their requirements and expectations.
Each build is unique in its form but also in its process.
Rob can be with you from the very beginning, before you even have land on which to build, or he can enter the process at any later stage. For example you may have a concept, rough drawings or full architectural plans. Rob can guide you through the next step, be that getting permits, contracting a designer/architect or starting the build.
Give Rob a call, send him an email. Ask him a question, meet with him. There is no obligation. You need to feel comfortable and trust your builder. You need to know you can have a good relationship for the length of the build and beyond.
Rob works with regular contractors with whom he has developed trust with a long term relationship. Rob uses tradespeople whose workmanship reflects his own high standards.
Rob is a long term member of the HIA (Housing Industry Association) and has completed the GreenSmart course through the HIA.
FAQs
I have lived in my home for a while but would like to subdivide and rebuild a dual occupancy. How do I go about subdividing? What are the best options for my size land?
We would organise a planning consultant to provide a report as to what would be the best options for your property. We can organise subdivision of your land during the construction process. This is done through your local council. Subdivision does not need to be complete n order to obtain a planning permit and begin construction.
Do I need an architect?
You could come to us with architectural drawings or we can organise the full design and planning permit application process for you.
Can you help with permits?
We can apply for both the Planning and Building Permits.
How long will a new house build take?
A recent two storey free standing new house build took 9 months to complete, however time will vary greatly with the size and complexity of the build
Do you provide a fixed price contract?
All our contracts are fixed price. The only time the final price will alter is when you request changes during the building process. Any such cost variations will be made clear to you.
What if I need landscaping or decking?
We can take care of all landscaping, concreting or decking needs. This can be part of the contract works or discussed and planned throughout the building process.
